If a child attends Sunday School beginning at age two, by the time they enter Middle School, they will have gone through the Bible between two and three times.
Sunday school is our primary teaching time. We teach through the entire Bible in a four-year cycle. If a child attends Sunday school beginning at age two, by the time they enter Middle School, they will have gone through the Bible between two and three times.
All ages cover the same material on any given Sunday. That way, if you have several children in our program, you can discuss what they’ve learned as a family.
Our teachers help your children memorize a passage of Scripture that goes along with what they’re learning. At the beginning of each lesson, the verses are memorized by the entire class and reviewed each week during the unit of study. If you would like to work on the verses at home, all of your children in our program will be memorizing the same passage in order to make it more family friendly!
All our teachers are committed to what they do. They love Jesus and love children! We have a wonderful variety of grandparents and younger adults who come each week prepared to teach your kids. All our teachers are required to complete a written interview, background check, and references before beginning to volunteer.
We provide wonderful visuals for our teachers to use each week, but sometimes we go all out and have the children “live” in the story. We call these “Big Events.” We encourage the kids to dress up in Bible time costumes for the morning. (If they don’t have one, we have some extras on hand!) We often enlist an adult class to help us with prop construction and acting parts.
