Children's Ministry

"It gives us joy to model and teach our children what it means to love God, love his Word, love their families, and love each other."

At Berrien Center Bible Church our goals for our children parallel the three essential themes held by our entire church body: Love, Learn, and Live.

  • It gives us joy to model and teach our children what it means to love God, love his Word, love their families, and love each other. We want to stretch their vision and help them learn to love others in their schools, their towns, and around the world.

  • We want our kids to know God, learn his Word and memorize it, and to be familiar with the whole counsel of Scripture. We want them to understand salvation and put their trust in Jesus.

  • We long to see our children desiring and beginning to live lives that please our God, applying what they learn to everyday life.

In order to do this, we offer Sunday School, Children’s Church, and Club 252

Sunday School

This is our primary teaching time. We teach through the entire Bible in a four year cycle. If a child attends Sunday School beginning at age two, by the time they enter Middle School, they will have gone through the Bible between two and three times.

Children's Church

Children's Church is offered for the second part of the morning worship service. During this time your child will revisit what they learned in Sunday School in a whole new way.

Club 252

Club 252 is offered during the school year on Wednesday nights for 1st - 6th grade students. Each month we learn about a godly virtue or character trait.
We do this through Bible study, memorization, and opportunities to practice the virtue.
