A Little About Me
How did you first come to BCBC? Why did you stay?
I first came to BCBC in 2008. This was during a stage in my life when I was really trying to get out on my own, and I was checking out multiple churches in the area. Then during this time I heard about BCBC from my parents who started attending here, so I checked it out and loved it. I eventually left BCBC to study at Moody Bible Institute in Spokane Washington. After Graduation my wife and I moved back to MI, and we started attending BCBC right away again. What has always kept BCBC in my heart and why I stay here is that while I was in WA, I noticed that my wife and I were still in people’s hearts and minds through out those years away. That is a kind of place I want to stay involved with and serve.
What is your role at BCBC?
Student Ministry Director and Media/Technology Director.
What’s your favorite season? Why?
My favorite season is the fall and there are so many reasons why. The temperature is perfect; the colors are beautiful. I love hearing the sound of the farms near me gearing up for the harvest, and all the hunting seasons open for the choosing.
What was your first job?
My first job was on my dad’s hog farm.
If you had no limits, what would be your dream vacation?
My dream vacation would be somewhere in Canada or Montana, where I would get in a helicopter and be flown out and dropped into the wilderness for a week long archery elk hunt. (This would not be my wife’s dream vacation for me, but hey, this is my answer.)
