GO, SERVE, PRAY, GIVE

Some go,

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him?  And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him?  And how can they hear about him unless somone tells them?  -Romans 10:14 NLT

• Full time Career Missions:  Some people, young and old, are called into full time service.  It may be to a foreign mission field, to the United States, or perhaps a local ministry.  We are here to encourage and walk with them on their journey.  Whether you are in the process of discerning God's calling or need preparation for the mission field, BCBC can help you take the next steps.  
• Short term Mission Trips:  Each year several teams of BCBC volunteers go to various places around the world, giving them opportunities to experience Kingdom work first hand.  These teams help in construction projects, teach Biblical truths, bring Bibles to waiting Christians, give love to children, and are invloved in other life-changing ministry opportunities.  While most of these projects run a week or two, some may last up to a year.

Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.  Remember that the Lord will reward one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free.

• Mission Team:  BCBC's Missions Team meets monthly to pray for our missionaries, interview prospective career missionary candidates, support short term missions planning, review the status of current supported missionaries, develop policies, keep the church informed about missionaries and mission efforts, and monitor the missions budget.  
• Missions Awareness:  Throughout the year we provide opportunities for the church to stay up to date on what our missionaries are doing.  We encourage our missionaries to visit the church when they are in the area.  We present periodic updates, and provide a Missionary Directory to help keep people in the church aware of the missionaries that BCBC supports.

• Missionary Newsletters:  Our missionaries report regularly on their ministry, their families and their needs.  We learn much about the day-to-day lives of our missionaries through these letters.  They let us know how we can best support our missionaries in prayer as we learn of their needs, their concerns, and their joys.

• Annual Missions Budget:  Our missions budget is a part of BCBC's general budget.  Missions at BCBC are funded by people like you who prayerfully commit to giving regularly to this ministry.   
• Additional Opportunities:  You may be prompted by God to give directly to a missionary.  We encourage you to join with and generously support those career missionaries that God has connected with you.  In addition, throughout the year you will have opportunities to give to special love offerings and/or missions projects.
